PORT DOUGLAS REGION – BEACH LOCATION

 Absolute – Newell Beach (15 minutes north of Port Douglas)

Absolute is located on absolute beachfront, Newell Beach, just 15 minute North of Port Douglas. Leading down to the beach is a grass area which is perfect for a Wedding. The Haven has 4 bedrooms all with their own ensuites, pool and sauna.

For a wedding:-

• Maximum 30 people
• $1000.00 location fee for 20 pax including house guests. Then $50 per head for any extra guest up to 30pax.
• Valid credit card details as security and $500 bond which is refundable on inspection subject to breakage or damage to the property
• Minimum 5 nights accommodation required

 

Moonlight Bay Beach House – Wonga Beach (30 minutes north of Port Douglas)

Moonlight Bay Beach House is located on absolute beachfront at Wonga Beach. Featuring four bedrooms and three bathrooms, Moonlight Bay Beach House can accommodate up to eight guests. With a large saltwater swimming pool, sunny deck and large garden perfect for Weddings.

For a Wedding:-

• Maximum 60 people
• $1000.00 location fee
• Valid credit card details as security
• Minimum 5 nights accommodation required

 

Pearl – Newell Beach (15 minutes north of Port Douglas)

Pearl on Newell Beach is absolute beachfront at Newell Beach. Pearl on Newell Beach is designed over one open plan level and features a salt water swimming pool and spa. This home accommodates up to eight guests in four bedrooms. Leading down to the beach is a grass area perfect for weddings.

For a wedding:-

• Maximum 40 people
• $1000.00 location fee
• Valid credit card details as security
• Minimum 5 nights accommodation required

 

 The Beach Villa on Newell Beach (15 minutes north of Port Douglas)

The Beach Villa on Newell Beach is located on absolute beachfront at quiet Newell Beach, just 20 minutes north of Port Douglas. This villa has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with a wetedge pool that has views out to the ocean. The Villa is very modern with a Balinese influence.

For a Wedding:-

• Maximum 60 people – ceremony only
• Maximum 25 people – sit down function
• Council permit may be required
• $1000.00 location fee
• Valid credit card details as security
• Minimum 5 nights accommodation required

We can also permit the ceremony on the beach in front of The Beach Villa on Newell Beach. We do advise that you seek permission from the Cairns City Council for this in the event that any neighbours complain.

 PORT DOUGLAS REGION - RAINFOREST LOCATION

 Bali Hai – via Mossman (15 minutes north of Port Douglas)

Bali Hai is a Haven that is exclusively yours. Located on 28 acres of lush Daintree Rainforest including 8 acres of extensive lawns The Haven consists of 4 thatched burees with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The main living area opens up on to an entertaining area with a wet edge pool that looks out to the tropical mountains.

For a wedding:-

• Maximum 200 people
• $2000.00 location fee
• Valid credit card as security
• Minimum 5 nights accommodation required

Mali Mali, via Mossman (15 minutes north of Port Douglas)

Mali Mali is located on 40 acres of absolute hilltop. With 360 degree views from the Daintree Rainforest to the Pacific Ocean and back to the rainforest, this haven is in a league of its own. Accommodating up to 6 guests in 3 king bedrooms, Mali Mali features a world class tennis court, heli pad and stunning wet-edge horizon swimming pool.

Port Douglas Valley Retreat, Mowbray Valley (10 minutes south of Port Douglas)

Port Douglas Valley Retreat is a magnificently designed 3 bedroom 2 bathroom traditional ‘Queenslander’ style holiday home featuring wide verandahs, high ceilings and a vast use of local timbers. The Home has a special garden area for your special day.

Shangri-La – Whyanbeel Valley (25 minutes north of Port Douglas)

Shangri-La is one of our exclusive lifestyle properties located on acreage in the beautiful Whyanbeel Valley. Shangri-La has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms and a electric heated wetedge lap pool that has amazing views of the lush mountains. A great sun-deck. Shangri-La now has a Vichy spa treatment room looking onto lawns and tropical gardens.

The owners define Cassowary as an ecologically sound concept. Due to its custom design, Cassowary has been awarded a five-star rating for energy efficiency which contributes to reducing Cassowary’s carbon footprint. Cassowary is a superb fusion of luxury and self-sustainment in a natural setting of 40 acres. A special function area is set up for weddings with facilities.

Hideaway Villa A – Port Douglas

Villa A is perfectly positioned high above Macrossan Street. Spacious indoor living with multi-fold doors opening from the living area onto a fully screened dining area overlooking the breathtaking views of the Mountains. A large expansive timber deck is suitable for holding your special day.

• $1000.00 location fee for 20 pax including house guests.

Sundaram, Port Douglas

Sundaram at amalè on Balè Drive is a tropical paradise in Port Douglas. Surrounded by lush, exotic gardens, Sundaram is a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom villa with private swimming pool. Sundaram at Balè Drive features all the mod cons and is hidden within a private, gated estate.

11 Beachfront Mirage, Port Douglas

11 Beachfront Mirage is bordering beachfront in the exclusive Beachfront Mirage Estate in Port Douglas. With 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, there is plenty of room for everyone. The tropical gardens surround the large saltwater swimming pool.

 CAIRNS REGION - BEACH LOCATION

Coralsands Beachfront Resort Trinity Beach (15  minutes from of Cairns Airport)

Coral Sands Beachfront Resort is located right on the Esplanade facing the beach. The resort is proud of its immaculate standards, with the beautiful gardens and cleanliness of this property consistently attracting comments from visitors.  Coralsands Resort has a special garden area for weddings. The Two -3 Bedroom apartments in this area have to be booked to enable a wedding function.

For a wedding:-

• Maximum 60 people
• $250.00 location fee
• Valid credit card as security
• Minimum 3 nights accommodation required

 

 The Penthouse Suite – Vue Trinity Beach (15 minutes from of Cairns Airport)

Sapphire Ridge, Palm Cove (25 minutes north of Cairns Airport)

This luxury holiday home is only a 20 minute drive north of Cairns with 180 degree views from Double Island to as far south as the city of Cairns. Sapphire Ridge is nestled in its own exclusive 40 acres of bush and rainforest over looking the picturesque Village of Palm Cove and the Coral Sea. Set around 4 acres of tropical gardens with lush exotic plants and a private walking track through the rainforest to a beautiful waterfall on Sweet Creek.

For a wedding $3000.00 and includes:-

• Maximum 20 people
• 3 nights accommodation
• Accommodation for up to 10 guests
• Glasses, ice buckets, floral arrangements, trestle tables, breakfast provisions on arrival and bottle sparkling wine
• Valid credit card details as security

For your information:

• We also charge a location fee. The location fee is a fee charged for using the property as a venue and not just as accommodation. The location is quite spectacular and unrivalled anywhere in this area. We are unable to waive this fee.
• Please note that there are noise restrictions at all properties. Neighbours must be considered and loud noise must stop at 10:30pm. Noise after this time must be kept to a minimum.
